Day 34 to Ponferrada 24km and 37 floors uphill
Some steep downhill walking (harder than uphill in my experience, especially on loose stone) but less than yesterday. Another beautiful Spring day and postcard pretty old villages. My cough continues to keep me awake all night, but the scenery and wonderful experience more than compensates.
Yes, you're right. I'm doing a full 2 day pause here in Ponferrada to try and get rid of the cough. And I've got my moral support arriving late tonight from .....
Beautiful indeed. Better stop for one or two days and take rest until your coughing gets better.
